Bright Beginnings™ NeoCare™ Weight Gain Infant Formula is a milk-based infant formula intended to meet the nutritional needs of low birth weight infants (LBW) after hospital discharge.

Clinical evidence suggests that catch-up growth increases when feeding infants nutrient-enriched formulas compared to standard term formulas.* Studies also show that premature infants fed a nutrient-enriched, post-discharge formula such as NeoCare™ achieve better growth performance after discharge without tolerance or gastrointestinal issues.

Comparable to Similac® NeoSure®, Bright Beginnings™ NeoCare™ provides a safe choice in the continued nutritional care of preterm, low birth weight, or small for gestational age [SGA] infants following hospital discharge.

In studies comparing preterm infants fed nutrient-enriched formula with preterm breastfed infants, breastfed infants weighed less and did not experience as great an increase in length as infants fed post-discharge formula. Similarly, SGA infants discharged on a more nutrient-rich formula were significantly longer at 18 months and weighed more at three months of age than infants fed a standard milk-based formula.**

NeoCare™ contains a higher level of protein, vitamins, and minerals per 100 Calories than standard term formula (22 Cal/fl oz). NeoCare™ also contains:
